Toddler
Based on our first core value, which is child-care, we have added creche to our list of educational services. Stellamaris School was established in 2013.
The creche is equipped with ultra-modern facilities and caters to the needs of babies and toddlers, thereby giving parents the required peace of mind to enhance productivity at the workplace.
Our creche cares for babies from age 3 to 18 months in a warm and homely environment.
After School
What do you do when the school day has finished, but your working day hasn’t? How do you keep your child busy during the holidays? The answer for many working parents of school aged children is After School Hours.
After School Hours is a supervised care and recreation for toddlers, nursery and primary school-age children:
- Before and after school
- On pupil-free days
- During school holidays (vacation care)
After School Hours care is usually associated with schools and caters to school children. Most After School Hours services are operated by community and private organisations and the government’s program is known as Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) or Vacation Care (VC).
Typical hours for After School Hours services are:
- Before school commencing from 6:30am till 9:00am
- After school 3:00pm till 6:00pm
- Vacation from 7:00am till 6:00pm each week day.
What will my Child at After School Hours?
After School Hours care emphasizes play, social interaction and recreation. Activities are organised in small and large groups, or children may choose quiet time by themselves (e.g to read and do homework).

Creche / Nursery / Pre-School
Our preschool section is designed to lay a solid foundation for children aged 18 months to 5+. The school is a specially-prepared Montessori environment and is regarded as one of the best Montessori schools in Lagos, due to its qualified teachers.
When you enroll your child in our preschool, he or she will experience an adapted form of the Montessori method of education, which enables children to achieve their full potential.

When setting up our creche, our plan is to provide the best creche in Lagos. Therefore, we ensure the room is spacious with adequate light and ventilation. To also ensure our caregivers are dedicated and not overwhelmed, we adopt a 3:1 caregiver-to-baby ratio in our creche. Our primary objective is to ensure babies in our care are comfortable at all times, by changing their wet diapers on time, giving them nutritious food according to their need and encouraging good habits through routine activities such as potty training.
Play-based Learning
In our creche, we adopt play-based learning, an integral part of the Montessori teaching method, which is proven to help kids learn faster and comprehend the basis of what they are being taught.
Through play-based learning, your child gets to play, have fun, and still learn the alphabets and numbers. This method not only helps the child with speech but enhances the essential skill of communication.
Individual Learning
Our caregivers understand how boys and girls grow and learn; they also take their time to study and understand the interest of each child in their care. Hence, they give each child the required attention that will enable him or her to learn and develop relevant skills.
Security
We have policies that ensure your child is safe in our creche. For instance, children can only be picked up by the parents or any registered members of a family. Our creche is safe and secure with access controls, CCtv and trained security personnel who ensure the creche is protected from invaders.
